Prayer for Your Grandchildren at the Start of the 2018/2019 School Year

In just four weeks my grandsons will be returning to school - the Summer has flown by for sure! So, with this on my mind I want to make these weeks before the start of the 2018/2019 school year filled with time well-spent . . . by me. While I will certainly continue to pray for my grandsons on a daily basis, these weeks leading up to the start of school are the perfect time for me to make praying Isaiah 40:28-30 part of my daily prayers for them. Consider making this your prayer for your grandchildren - of any age - as well . . .
Dear Heavenly Father,
I thank You for being the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the Earth. I am so thankful You do not grow tired or weary and You understand my grandchildren even more than I am able to imagine. As my grandchildren begin a new school year, please give Your power to them when they are tired and revive them when they feel exhausted, because there are certainly times when they are tired and weary. When they stumble, please help them remember because their hope is in You, they are able to trust You to renew their strength, so they are able to continue on the path You have put before them. Thank You for Your great love for them. Amen.
If you make this part of your prayers for your grandchildren, let them know what you are praying for them. You might consider printing a copy and then give it to them for them to put where they will see and remember - you are praying for them and how they are able to trust God's great love for them.
