Share the Truth

I know there are solid reasons to be someone who no longer uses Facebook, but I find it is a tool which allows me to stay in touch with family and friends - especially those who live far from me. It is also a tool which allows me to share my faith with those I love. This morning I posted something on my facebook page for my family. I wrote;

"A few truths I've experienced in my life, so I know they are true - I hope they encourage you today! . . .

1. As much as I love my family – and I do – God loves them even more!
2. As much as I want them to love, know and walk with God – and I do – God wants them to do these things even more!
3. While I can not make anyone love, and walk with God, Jesus came to draw people to Himself and He will do what He came to do! (Jeremiah 30)
4. I am able to pray and prayer IS powerful – God has promised to hear, listen to and answer my prayers! Jeremiah 29:11-14a - 'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,' declares the Lord, 'and will bring you back from captivity.'"

Feel free to share these truths with your family as well!
