Prayer to be Filled by Jesus
We’re spiritually parched. We’ve relied upon ourselves and not on you. We’ve emptied ourselves in service to our families, churches and communities without stopping to re-hydrate—physically, emotionally or spiritually. Forgive us for becoming so busy we’ve forgotten to drink daily of Your life-giving Spirit.
On the last day of the Feast of the Tabernacles, You stood on the Temple steps and called, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water'” (John 7:37-38).
Lord, we’re here now… ready to drink.
