The Power in Prayer

Aren't you so thankful for the truth in this quote from Max Lucado! Our prayers, whether they are eloquent or awkward, do not depend upon us. They depend upon God and He has the power, and will, to hear, listen and answer our prayers.

So when you feel able to pray and have the words to say; pray. When you do not feel able to pray and do not have the words to say; pray. The power of your prayers is not found in the words you say.

Be sure your grandchildren know this truth as there will be times in their lives when they feel able to pray; and times when they do not. If you want them to grow to be people who pray, be sure they know where the power in prayer is found.
