Three Essential Parts of our Prayers for the Ones We Love

I originally shared this picture with you a few months back, but since this week I'm thinking about prayer, I thought I'd share it once again. With Sherry Schumann's prayer from yesterday and more posts about prayer to come throughout the week, it is a good idea to stop and think about these three important things to keep in mind when praying for our grandchildren and grown children . . .
  • Pray they will remember and believe the Truth about Who God Is. This world will do all it is able to do to deceive them into believing God is not real; we need to make it part of our daily prayers for God to help them remember and believe the Truth.
  • Pray they will remember and believe the truth about who God made them to be. Again, this world will do all it is able to do to deceive them into believing lies about who they are, but God knew what He was doing when He created them. He did not make any mistakes. They are the boys or girls, men or women God created them to be. Pray they will see and believe this truth.
  • Ask God to protect their hearts and minds, so they are not sidetracked or deceived into believing the lies of Satan.
These three simple, yet essential parts of our prayers are able to be prayed during times of prayer and as we go throughout our day, whenever God brings them to mind. Consider making them a core part of your prayers for the ones you love.
