It IS Our Job to Trust & Believe God Will Do What He has Promised to Do

Over the past few days I wrote about the things which are NOT our job as grandmas (grandpas and parents, too) and the things which ARE our job. Today I want to share one more thing with you which IS your job . . .  trusting and believing God will do what He has promised to do.

Over and over throughout the Bible God promises, yes promises to answer our prayers, to draw all people to Him and to save our descendants. While He will not force them to follow Him, He will answer our prayers by putting people in their path who are able to be a positive influence on them, bringing Scripture to their minds, reminding them of how He has been faithful to them in the past and working to bring them to a place where they want to walk with Him again.

And most powerfully, we need to trust God. We need to believe Him. When we act in trust and faith we are able to be used of God to draw the ones we love to Him by the example of our lives.

So, be faithful to fulfill the job God has given to you - pray for your grandchildren and children, watch for how God has been faithful to you, remember your and your family's Faith & Prayer History, tell your children and grandchildren how God has been faithful to you, trust and believe God will do what He has promised to do and live it.
