"Touch the Keys", "Show Your Joy & Shine"

We all have days in our lives where we experience blessings; days which bring us joy and days which we would happily re-live. Likewise; we all have days in our lives which are difficult, challenging and even unpleasant. Days we never want to re-live. Days which are not able to end fast enough. This is true for the ones we love as well.

As Barbara Johnson says; "Life is a refining process. Our response to it determines if we will be ground down or polished up. On a piano one person plays sonatas, while another just bangs away at 'Chopsticks'. The piano is not responsible: it is how you touch the keys which makes the difference. It is how you play what life gives you which determines your joy and shine!" Show your, "joy and shine" to your family. Make sure they hear, "sonatas" as you, "touch the keys" in your life and respond to the blessings as well as the challenges in your life.

I know I've been writing about this a bit lately, but I need to remember not only do I need to be a person who responds to all life brings my way with wisdom, I want to be a person who does this as well. I have three grandsons, a daughter, son and daughter-in-law and others who watch to see if my faith is real; if it is something which impacts all of my life. I want them to see my faith is real; I want them to see I, "play sonatas" and to see an example for how they are able to, "touch the keys" in their own lives as well.

Play those, "sonatas" with the life God has allowed your way . . . remember, nothing makes it through His hand to you without His permission. This means in the blessings and challenges He is with you and knows what is happening. You are able to depend upon His faithful love and care for you. This is true for the ones you love as well, so show it. Talk with them about it, so they are able to put their trust in Him as well.

As you all head into whatever new things the coming school year brings your way and the way of the ones you love, "touch the keys", "play sonatas", "show your joy and shine".
