Prayer for Wisdom
We pray our grandchildren seek wisdom. Let them revere, respect and be in awe of You, for “the fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom” (Psalm 111:10).
We pray they listen to sound advice and accept godly instruction. Let them be attentive to their father’s instruction and heed their mother’s teaching (Proverbs 1:8, paraphrased).
We pray they walk with integrity. Let them be honorable, incorruptible, morally upright and able to admit their shortcomings.
Most of all, let grandchildren cling to Christ. “For the LORD gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk in integrity” (Proverbs 2:6-7).
In Christ’s Name, we pray.
