Tell the "Whys" - Irreducibly Complex Systems are Strong Scientific Evidence

As parents we likely did (or are doing) a decent job of teaching our children what to believe; teaching them the truth in God's Word. As grandparents we likely are doing a decent job of teaching our grandchildren what to believe; teaching them the truth in God's Word. It is important, and essential for us to do this. God tells us in His Word to teach the generations who come behind us Who He is and to remember and tell them the things He has done. We want them to know the truth of God's Word and we want them to believe, so we teach them.

But, we are likely to not do as well when it comes to teaching the children we love the "whys"; why they are able to believe in God and trust His Word with confidence. This is also something which is important and essential for us to do, because if we do not, it is very possible the day will come when they are faced with people who will tell them God is not real, the Bible is not true and science proves these things.

This is not true; science does not prove God is not real and the Bible is not true. Science actually shows us God is real and backs up the Bible, but if we do not teach the ones we love why they are able to believe in God and trust the Bible with confidence, the day may come when our hearts break as they turn away from the faith they had when they were younger.

I highly recommend getting the book - The Case for Christianity Answer Book by Lee Strobel. In this little book you will find questions and answers for why you are able to believe in God and trust His Word with confidence. I plan to use it with my grandsons this Fall - we will work through it together and learn about what science has to tell us about God and the Bible, how we know we are able to trust the Bible, what we know about Jesus and more. I want my grandsons to believe the truth and know why they are able to believe the truth.

We do not have to be intimidated by or afraid of science and what it has to tell us about God and the Bible - God created science! When you truly study science, you find it clearly points to God - share with them this information about irreducible complex systems - they are strong scientific evidence for God. Be sure to share this with the ones you love.
