Prayer for Grandchildren to be Aware of the Power of Their Words
Please make our grandchildren aware of the power of their words. Let them realize their words, along with the tone in which their words are delivered, have the power to bless or curse.
Let our grandchildren put away “anger, wrath, malice, slander and obscene talk from (their) mouth” (Colossians 3:8). “Set a guard, O Lord, over (their) mouth; keep watch over the door of (their) lips” (Psalm 141:3).
Let them understand “whoever restrains his words has knowledge and he who has a cool spirit is a man of understanding” (Proverbs 18:27).
In Your Name, we pray.
