Equip Them to Be People Who Pray

My grandsons are learning to be people who pray. While I absolutely want them to pray with their poppa and I, it is essential, absolutely essential for them to learn to be people who are able to pray on their own. I want them to know how their poppa's and I have a faith which is real, it is the most important thing for them to know they are able to have a faith of their own which is real.

So, yes. Absolutely. I pray for my grandchildren and their parents; regularly and deliberately. I believe this not only can, but most certainly will make a difference in their lives - and in my own as well. But, I will not stop here. I will teach and equip my grandsons to be people who know how to talk with God for themselves, because while knowing I pray for them is able to encourage them, they will have power in their lives from personally walking and talking with God.

It is my responsibility to powerfully touch their lives for eternity through prayer AND it is my responsibility to equip them to be people who regularly and deliberately talk with God as this will absolutely make a difference in their lives.
