Trust God's Timetable

As I look forward to 2020 there are many things I would love to see happen. I would love to see family members who are not walking with God, return to Him. I would love to see my grandsons grow closer to God by choosing to be people who pray. I would love to see some specific prayer requests answered. I would love to see Grandmas with Heart continue to be a helpful resource for grandmas, grandpas and parents. I would love to see my church develop a solid ministry which equips grandparents and parents to hand down the faith. Oh yes, as I look forward to 2020 there are many things I would love to see happen.

While I am able to see how many of these things are certainly things God wants, and while I think my "timetable" is a positive thing, God knows the best timetable. As Chuck Swindoll said; "He has a plan he will execute perfectly and for the highest, greatest good of all, and for His ultimate glory."

No matter our timetables, we need to be people who completely trust God. He certainly is able to see and know the best time, the best way, the best plan and He loves us and the ones we love. So, as 2020 takes off, certainly have a "timetable" and plan, but trust God to do as He has promised - "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)
