Linda Ranson Jacobs (one of our Grandmas with Heart and the founder of DC4K) shared a post from a friend, which I am sharing with you . . .
Trust God, talk with Him, help the ones you love learn to talk with God, ask for prayer requests, do what you are able to do to "avoid places and persons where your presence is not needed". Look for and "Choose to enjoy every drop of today." While there are things we are not able to do, or do anything about, there are things we are able to do and we are able to choose an attitude which shows we trust God. This matters for us and for the ones we love - and when life goes back to "normal", perhaps some of these things will have become positive habits which we will carry with us throughout the rest of our lives, and will be able to see the ones we love do the same! From a pamphlet written by Martin Luther in 1527 entitled, “Whether One May Flee from a Deadly Plague.”“Therefore I shall ask God mercifully to protect us. Then I shall fumigate, help purify the air, administer medicine, and take it. I shall avoid places and persons where my presence is not needed in order not to become contaminated and thus perchance infect and pollute others, and so cause their death as a result of my negligence. If God should wish to take me, He will surely find me, and I have done what He has expected of me, and so I am not responsible for either my own death or the death of others. If my neighbor needs me, however, I shall not avoid place or person, but will go freely."'
