God Will Hear You

Throughout our lives there will be times when we feel strong, and times when we need strength. Times when we experience peace, and times when things feel chaotic. Times when things make sense and the wise choice is clear, and times when they do not. Times when we know what direction we need to head, and times when we do not. Times when we feel like our lives are disciplined and in order, and times when they do not. No matter where we are and what we need, we are able to ask God for these things and know with confidence He will hear us! Just look at these verses . . .
  • 1 John 5:14And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.
  • 1 Peter 3:12a - For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer
  • Proverbs 15:29b - The Lord hears the prayer of the righteous.
  • Isaiah 65:24 Before they call I will answer; while they are yet speaking I will hear.
  • Psalm 34:17 - When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.
God has promised to hear and answer our prayers, we are absolutely able to believe Him in the times when things are going well, and in the times when they are not. Take this truth to heart. Believe it. Trust Him. Live it. Model to the ones you love what it looks like to believe, trust and live as someone who knows God hears and answers our prayers at all times.

We will all experience difficult times in life, but when we are able to hold to the truth and know God hears us, even difficult times are times which bring us strength, peace, wisdom, direction and discipline. Ask for them. God will hear you. Show this to the ones you love by the way you live.
