Let Your Praise Show You Are Not Afraid

As we begin another week of social distancing and expect the numbers of people who have COVID-19 to increase, please take the truth of  Psalm 103 to heart and lift our praise to God with all our heart . . .
With all my heart I praise the Lord,    and with all that I am I praise his holy name! With all my heart I praise the Lord! I will never forget how kind he has been. The Lord forgives our sins, heals us when we are sick, and protects us from death. His kindness and love are a crown on our heads. Each day that we live, he provides for our needs and gives us the strength of a young eagle. The Lord is merciful! He is kind and patient, and his love never fails. How great is God’s love for all who worship him? Greater than the distance between heaven and earth! How far has the Lord taken our sins from us?Farther than the distance from east to west! Just as parents are kind to their children, the Lord is kind to all who worship him, The Lord is always kind to those who worship him, and he keeps his promises to their descendants who faithfully obey him. God has set up his kingdom in heaven, and he rules the whole creation. All of you mighty angels, who obey God’s commands, come and praise your LordAll of you thousands who serve and obey God, come and praise your LordAll of God’s creation and all that he rules, come and praise your  LordWith all my heart I praise the Lord!
Take to heart the truth of Psalm 103 and make it a priority to praise God today - praise Him in your own time of prayer and praise Him with your family. Consider praying Psalm 103 to God . . .
Dear God, with all my heart, and all I am, I praise You. I praise You for the ways You have shown Your kindness to me (fill in some of the ways God has shown His kindness to you) and for forgiving, healing and protecting me and the ones I love. I praise You for how today, and every day, You provide what I need and give me the strength I need. I praise You for your merciful, kind, patient and never-failing love. I praise You for Your enormous love and kindness to me and the ones I love; we will love and praise you with our all.
Praise God with your all and lead the ones you love in doing the same - today, tomorrow and every day.
