Hand Down a Heritage of Faith

As grandmas (and grandpas/ parents) who are committed to handing down the faith, we know at all times it matters for us to be intentional about handing down the faith; but especially now with all the challenges and concerns with COVID-19 which the ones we love are facing it is even more essential. We need to be solidly committed to handing down the faith and are able to do so in the following ways . . .
  • Today, April 15, 2020 is the date for the Global Day of Fasting & Prayer - you will learn more about it at this link. Join us today and be part of a global gathering of God's people for a Global Day of Fasting and Prayer.
  • Continue to faithfully pray for the children and grandchildren God has given to you. Ask them for prayer requests and keep a record of what you are praying about and the ways God answers - this becomes part of your family's Prayer History.
  • Involve your grandchildren (ages four - fourteen) in praying through the Psalms with the book - Praying Deeper Through the Psalms for Children - available for just $5 at this link and on Amazon at this link.) We know while praying for the children we love is essential, it is even more essential for them to learn to be people who talk with God. Consider getting this book and giving it to the children you love for Children's Day (the second Sunday in June, and yes, it is a real holiday.)
  • Join - or start - a grandparents/parents/generations prayer group and pray together for the children you love.
These are just a few ways you are able to hand down a heritage of faith - and nothing is more important.
