God is With Them - He Loves Them

Do you have situations and/or people in your life who bring levels of frustration and even sadness into your life? When you think about these situations and/or people do you have a difficult time understanding why God would allow them into your life or at least have a hard time seeing God's loving hand in your life? Well, please feel encouraged, because this quote by Luci Swindoll is true. No matter what, God is with you and He loves you.

When we experience difficult times, we need to turn to God in prayer - look what Charles Spurgeon said about this;
"Anything is a blessing which makes us pray."
 I have experienced difficult situations and people in my life and at the time I did not see how they could be blessings, but they did cause me to pray more. Praying more brings me closer to God and gives me the opportunity to see first-hand how He is working in my life, so I am able to agree with Charles Spurgeon.

I know my children and grandchildren will experience difficult situations and people in their lives; I sincerely want them to be able to see God's hand and trust Him during those times. If they pray while experiencing these things, they are more likely to be drawn closer to God, so it is my prayer for them to become people who pray - in the times when they are experiencing joy and the times when life is difficult.

Consider making these verses from Isaiah 41 your prayer for your children, grandchildren and for yourself as well . . .

I have chosen you and have not rejected you.
10 So do not fear, for I am with you;
    do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
    I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Dear God, thank You for choosing us; please help us hold tightly to You and to trust You instead of feeling afraid or confused, no matter the situation or person with whom we are dealing. As we go through this day, please help us turn to You, be able to see and remember how You are with us and feel encouraged when we do. Thank You for being our God, for giving us strength, for helping and holding us no matter what we face. Thank You for loving us; I love You, too. Amen.
