The Greatest Discovery

If you have grandchildren who graduated this year, they may feel like their lives have gone a bit out of control. They may feel very uncertain as to what the future holds for them whether they go into the work force or if they had planned to head to college. This is the time to help them see God is the Author of their destiny and He is in control.

If your grandchildren are still school age they may feel uncertain about what the future holds for them - will they be able to return to their schools in the Fall, or will they have to start the new school year with home school? Will they be able to participate in sports, attend church, get together with their friends, or have to continue staying away? This is the time to help them also see God is the Author of their destiny and He is in control.

This applies to you and your grown children as well. Life has been very different for all of us the past couple months and none of us know what the future holds, but we all are able to know God is the Author of our destiny and He is in control - no matter what. Our destiny is about more than what we are experiencing yesterday, today or even tomorrow. It is about our purpose. God created us with purpose; we have a destiny and He is in control - even if we do not feel like we are.

So, continue with what you know God created you to do. Model what this looks like for your children and grandchildren. Encourage them, pray with and for them, and listen to their concerns. What Ravi Zacharias said is true; especially as we move through this time of Covid-19 . . .
There is no greater discovery than seeing God as the Author of your destiny.
Share this with the ones you love today and take it to heart for yourself as well.
