Remember & Fight Some More

Last year we had a guest pastor at my church; Kyle Brown. He taught from Nehemiah and he said the "point" of his message was for us to remember Who is fighting for us, remember for whom we are fighting, get up and fight some more.

Don't you just love this! No matter what challenges you are facing, or how confusing and frighting the world may look to us, we need to remember Who is fighting for us - and for our grandchildren/grown children. God loves the ones we love more than do we and He wants them to choose to love, and follow Him more than do we.

We need to remember for whom we are fighting. We are not able to give up and quit. Our grandchildren - and grown children - need us to be faithful to hand down the faith. Your grandchildren and grown children need you. My grandchildren and grown children need me. Remember for whom we are fighting.

So, we need to get back up, dust ourselves off, and fight. We need to pray. We need to share the truth of God's Word. We need to teach them Who God is. We need to teach them who God made them to be. We need to live faithful lives. We need to love them no matter what. We need to continue to hand down the faith.

Remember Who is fighting for you. Remember for whom you are fighting. Get up and fight some more.
