See It All Through Their Eyes

My grandsons love rocks. When they find an interesting rock, they are pretty happy about it. While to me it may just look like a rock, to them it is a treasure. Because rocks are so special to my grandsons, I see them now it an entirely different light.

When we talk about Bible people, situations, accounts, and my grandsons are in awe or have questions, I am able to see it all anew and with their wonder - the account moves from something I've read and heard about so many times, to something exciting and new.

Grandchildren are gifts to us for many reasons, but one reason is definitely because they bring wonder, delight, and surprise back to our lives. Take some time today to see it all through the eyes of your grandchildren - and thank God for these gifts!
