A Daily Focus for Our Prayers

Whether our grown children are walking with God, or not, we need to be faithful to pray for them so they, "have an understanding of - and a desire for - the presence of the Holy Spirit, so they find all the freedom and liberty, devotion, and restoration, transformation, and wholeness God has for them." Is there anything better for us to be praying about for them?

Consider making this a daily focus of your prayers in the following way . . .

  • On Sundays, along with the other things for which you are praying, pray for them to have an understanding of - and a desire for - the presence of the Holy Spirit.
  • On Mondays, along with the other things for which you are praying, pray for them to they find all the freedom God has for them.
  • On Tuesdays, along with the other things for which you are praying, pray for them to find all the liberty God has for them.
  • On Wednesdays, along with the other things for which you are praying, pray for them to find all the devotion God has for them.
  • On Thursdays, along with the other things for which you are praying, pray for them to find all the restoration God has for them.
  • On Fridays, along with the other things for which you are praying, pray for them to find all the transformation God has for them.
  • On Saturdays, along with the other things for which you are praying, pray for them to find all the wholeness God has for them.
Along with praying this "guide" and focus for your grown children, pray it for your grandchildren as well. Sometimes having a "guide" for our prayers helps us pray more faithfully and more consistently for the ones we love. Consider giving it a try.
