Don't Stop Telling Them

How has God worked in your life? In what ways has He answered your prayers? When have you experienced, or gone through a difficult time and were able to know God was with you all the way? What has your own walk with God looked like?

These are important, even essential things for you to share with, tell and teach your grandchildren. They need to hear and know the accounts of how God has shown Himself to be real in your life. They need to hear and know the accounts of how and why you made the choice to walk with God. If you do not tell them, how will they know these things?

If they are able to hear from you about these things, then they are better able to identify what it looks like for God to work in their lives, answer their prayers, be with them in difficult times and knowing these things makes it easier for them to make the choice to walk with God.

And know this, no matter what your walk of faith looks like and why you chose to walk with God, your grandchildren have to personally make the choice to walk with God for themselves. It is their choice.

But, knowing how God has shown Himself to be real, trustworthy, faithful and loving in your life will help them make the choice to walk with God for themselves. So, tell them! Tell them some more! Don't stop telling them.
