Our "Journey" of Godly Grandparenting

There are times in our lives when we are able to see what God is doing, we know what He wants us to do, and we are able to "take off" and head in the direction He is leading. There are other times when we may not see what He is doing and it is in those times when we must just keep on doing the things we know God wants us to do - whether we are able to see where we are going or not.

I love this quote from Cathy Jacobs - she is so correct. "Godly grandparenting is not a race. It is a journey we travel with our loved ones, often persevering day in and day out." When we hand down confident faith, we need to keep moving forward each day of our journey - when we are able to see what God is doing, and when we are not.

So today on your "journey" of godly grandparenting, when it comes to handing down confident faith, keep moving forward and know you do not journey alone.

Deuteronomy 31:8 - It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; He will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.
