We Are Able to Do What Counts & Makes An Eternal Significance

When one year ends and another begins we often stop to think about the things we accomplished in the year ending as well as the things we want to do in the coming year. While 2020 brought with it unexpected challenges, we still had the opportunity to connect - even from a distance - with the ones we love and to hand down confident faith - particularly by modeling what it looks like to trust God in a frightening situation.

As 2021 begins, as we get the shot we have hope for things to return to a more "normal" way of life, but we are able to take with us the things we "learned" about what matters most, trusting God, and living our faith in difficult times. When we do these things we will be handing down confident faith - this is absolutely something which counts and has eternal significance!

As we are able to spend time with others again, do so, but remember what matters the most - handing down confident faith. Make time to connect with the ones you love - in person or from a distance - and hand down confident faith. Continue to pray for the ones you love. Continue to model what it looks like to live with confident faith.

We grandmas (and grandpas/parents, too) are able to do what truly counts and has eternal significance - we are able to hand down confident faith!
