Do What Matters the Most

When Jesus was asked about the most important command, He said it was for us to love God with our all, and the second was for us to love others the way we loved ourselves. He lived a life which showed love for God and others - and wants us to do the same - this is the most important thing for us to do.

When we love God with our all, we are doing the most important thing we will ever do. When we love our grown children and grandchildren with our all, we are doing the most important thing we will ever do. When we love those in our community and around the world, we are doing the most important thing we will ever do. When we model this love and help teach the ones we love to do the same, we are doing the most important thing we will ever do. We are doing what matters the most.

So, don't think just because we are getting older, we are no longer able to do things which truly matter. Loving God and others with our all are the things which matter the most and we are absolutely able to do these things!
